When Mirà Kanehl's fingertips aren’t bleeding onto the keyboard she's doing yoga or reading great books. She grew up in a remote place in India where fragrant jasmine bushes line orange sand
roads and cows (equally odorous) jam traffic. She currently resides in Germany though she's a nomad in blood. She works in a children’s home and she has four younger sisters which, in part, she
helped raise.
Her books explore intercultural life and sometimes harsh historical realities in unusual and gripping stories.
